The Institute of Microbial Technology, a constituent establishment of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India, wishes to recruit Research Associate on temporary basis to work in various sponsored/networked projects in this Institute as per details given below. Apart from the candidate selected in the project, a panel will be made, which will be operative for a maximum period of one year from the date of interview or another interview is conducted by the Institute for recruitment of similar positions in future, whichever is earlier.
1. Research Associate - (01 position)
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Life Science, Chemical Science/Environment Science with sufficient exposure of analytical/ immuno clinical techniques.
Desirable: Practical research experience in the areas mentioned above.
Stipend: - Rs. 24,000/-plus HRA@20%
Age limit : - 35 years as on 20.09.2011
2. Project Assistant Level-III (02 Position)
Essential Qualification: 1st Class M.Sc in Life Sciences,Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Chemical Science(Chemistry) or environmental Science. with minimum of 2 years research experience.
Stipend: - Rs. 12,000/-
Age limit : - 30 years as on 20.09.2011
3. Project Assistant Level-II (02 Positions) (upto 31.03.2012)
Stipend: - Rs. 10,000/-
Age limit : - 28 years as on 20.09.2011
Essential Qualification: M.Sc (first class) in the area of Life Science/ Chemistry/ Bio-Chemistry/Bio-Physics/Bio-Technology/Molecular Biology & Microbiology, Chemical Science (Chemistry) or environmental Science.
(Relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped and woman candidates in case of RA only will be as per GOI Rules).
How to Apply
Such of the candidates who fulfils the eligibility conditions may please Walk-In for Interview on 20.09.2011 (Tuesday) at 09:30 A.M. (Sharp) in the Seminar Hall of this Institute along with complete bio-data duly signed and enclosing photocopies of certificates/testimonials in support of date of birth, qualification/ experience etc. & affixed with latest photograph. Original Certificates are also to be produced for verification at the time of Interview. No TA will be paid for attending the interview.
