Research Engineer for CRR

Project Title : Aerodynamic design of traction rolling stock with speed potentials of 250 km/h upgradeable up to 350 km/h ( DRK )

Qualifications :  

Master's degree in any of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Fluid Mechanics, Thermal Sciences Aerospace Engineering with specialization in Fluid Mechanics Candidates should have very good academic records throughout. Candidates with relevant industrial/research experience will be given due consideration.

OR

Bachelor's degree in any of the above disciplines with exceptional academic career and at least two years' relevant industrial/research experience may also be considered. Valid and excellent GATE score is desirable for these candidates, to be considered for MS programmes.
1. CFD Software
2. C/C++ or Fortran programming language
3. Flow measurement instruments like hot-wire or LDV or PIV.
4. Drag pressure and velocity measurement in a wind tunnel.

b) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with at least 50% of marks and one year work experience. Machining, welding, sheet metal work, Drafting and working on CAD software
